Ehrgeiz

Ehrgeiz was a 3D fighting game released in 1999 by Squaresoft. Many FFVII characters made a cameo appearance in it and Yuffie was once again a hidden character.

In-game
To master the game, one must be able to successfully push buttons in a certain sequence and speed. To be able to do this can take time for some. In the very beginning, the player is able to test his battle skills a bit in Practice Mode, where he cannot die.
To obtain Yuffie, you must beat the whole game using another FFVII character of Ehrgeiz, Cloud Strife. In-game, Yuffie uses a Cross Shuriken in line with her traditional weapons.

Moves Below are links to lists of Yuffie's moves to be used in game. Because some of her moves were depicted in kanji in all versions and proper complete translations are difficult in some cases (especially those marked in brackets) I have added the original Japanese version of every move name.

Stuff
• Yuffie has two choosable outfits: one is her default one, the same as in Final Fantasy VII and the second is her initial design that Nomura had done for her, a plain outfit with shorts and a red top.
• Because Yuffie is once again a hidden character, she does not have an ending available in the game.
• If you beat the full game using Yuffie, then you can access Cloud's 3rd hidden outfit: His Shin-Ra costume!
• Many of Yuffie's moves correspond with abilities, locations, limit breaks and weapons that belonged to Yuffie in the original Final Fantasy VII. Examples are All Creation, Dachao's Wind, Hawkeye and ofcourse Shu Shu Shu.
