Obtaining Yuffie

Okay, so obtaining Yuffie isn't really that hard, it's just a matter of saying the right thing.. literally. After you exit the caves beyond the chocobo farm, you will be able to encounter a Mystery Ninja battle in any forest on the world map. You'll have to fight her, which is not really that hard. As long as you have one healer and the rest attacking, you'll be fine.

After that, you get a mini sequence. Now, this is the 'tricky' part, unless you know what to do. The mystery ninja will talk to you, annoy you and ask you several questions. You have to give the right answers in order for her to invite herself into your party. Don't worry, because you can fight her again and give it another shot if you mess up.
(Note: Do not save your game after beating her! It will result in her running away.)

The answer sequence that is required to be given depends on your party leader. Below are the possibilities of scripts (depending on the main character in your party) in obtaining Yuffie. (Correct answers marked with a 'menu hand'). You can also click on the wrong options to see how the sequence continues if you opt for the wrong answer. (under construction!):
