Japanese Voiceover
Name: Yumi Kakazu - かかず ゆみ
Birthdate: June 18, 1973
Birthplace: Seitama
Height: 1.59 m (5' 3'')
Blood Type: O
Most famous for: Voiceovers for Ayashi no Ceres (as Aya Mikage) and Vandread (as Dita Liebely)

Yumi Kakazu was the MC for a promotional event for Square's Ehrgeiz when she really got interested in doing voice acting jobs. Soon after her growing interest, she landed a job as Yuffie's voice actress in Ehrgeiz. From there onwards, Yumi has been the loyal voice actress for Yuffie Kisaragi in multimedia where the character was featured in.

Kakazu was extremely succesful in portraying a believable voice for the young ninja: she sounds bright and energetic - just as she had intended to do the voice. After all, that's what the director's wishes were -- even in the most serious of scenes, Yuffie's voice lights up the room with a certain tone of sassiness because Kakaze did not hold back.

The voice actress was very happy to do the role of Yuffie since it's part of such an international project. She was amazed when she saw the height to which the animation skills had risen in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Her personal favourite part is scene with Rude and his sunglasses.
